We just finished our morning Bible school. The children arrived very excited and quickly fell into the routine. They love songs with motions. One of the missionaries told us that at least 60% of the children are on the drug ritalin for their behavior-but, they are very attentive to stories from God's word. I am attaching a picture of Charles, an 8 year old who came from a horrible situation, abused, neglected, and in a half way house before COL. He has been all smiles and is a hugger. The children tug on our hearts.
More eye exams happened today-and also more last night.
Time for lunch...

A message for Trevor: I called Wells Fargo and they said your card should work anywhere. It should be treated just like a credit card. If you try to use it at an ATM, the ATM needs to accept VISA cards. Also, if this doesn't work, I will deposit money in an account of anyone else on the team and they can give it to you that way! Let me know if there is anything else I can do. You have a couple hundred in your acct. I can put more in if you want to buy me an extravagant gift! Love, mom
ReplyDeleteThey have ADD kids there too? I thought it was all our diets in the U.S. that caused disruptive behavior. Good luck in your election today! I voted. If my mom starts having problems posessing information, tell her to check her blood sugar. Thank You Lord for guiding the team to a successful mission so far.

One day he took a cold shower and when his mother asked him why, he said, "Well I'm chocolate and chocolate melts in hot water." How can you beat that reasoning?? - Ardath Effa
